Party: Declan the human barbarian, Jax the half elf rogue, Gileas the human bard, Ilidan Hunzrin the draw rogue, Rolan the human Paladin
The party was approached by Rolann Uthersenn, a human Paladin, who was in Waterdeep working as a bounty hunter. He agreed to help out the party as the searched for the missing Nimblewright from the Gralhund Villa. They decided to use the nimblewright detector to track it down while Gileas was off teaching at the Bard College.
It took 4 days for the group to track down the nimblewright. They quickly dispatched the construct the turned its body into the priestess at the Temple of Gond. Declan kept the head of the construct and hung it on the wall of the Laughing Demon Inn. The construct had a map in its possession that called out Grina Garloth in Mistshore at the Dockward.
After the temple, the party went to find Grinda. They interrupted a band of Xanathar at Grinda’s house including several bandits and three morrow. During the battle a large group of local thugs began to attack the party, but were convinced to switch sides when offered coin. After defeating the Xanathar’s men, Grinda confirmed that she had the Stone of Golar, but had her rat familiar take it away for safe keeping since there was too much attention coming with it. She offered to sell the location of the stone to the party for 2000gp. They were reluctant to pay so they approached the Cassalanters, where Willifort Crowelle agreed to sponsor them with the understanding that they would return the stone to him. The party paid Grinda but insisted she come with them to the stone’s hiding place: the Garloth tomb at the City of the Dead.
