Will they sneak into the sewers to pursue the drow, or will they taunt the demons by burning down the defiled trees ?
From Krumm…
The drow I asked to check on things in Luskan returned to Leilon and told us about the turn of events in the city. Demons be causing some disruption to the town, and it seems like the drow I’m looking for may have been either chased out or are a part of it. I’m bettin’ on the latter…
The other Lions showed no hesitation in joinin’ me on my quest for answers and revenge. We boarded the same ship helmed by the same Tabaxi captain from earlier and made our way to Neverwinter to see about some supplies. A number of us got some potions from a reputable dealer – I think we be avoidin’ any more potion mishaps in the future…
From Neverwinter we sailed to Luskan, and asked the captain to stay docked a couple days for us. I talked to the commander of the local dwarf garrison and found out some more about the demons and where things sat in the south part of town. He then pointed me in the direction of one of the ship captains/heads of Luskan, Kurth. Talkin’ to him, I got the feelin’ he wanted the demons and drow gone as much as anyone, and helped organize some boats to get us to the south part of the city.
That night, we crossed the River Marar and soon saw some of the citizens in a trance-like state, as others told us we’d be seein. We avoided harassing the locals but soon met up with a number of demons, Manes and some winged buzzers. The buzzers proved more of a challenge than the Manes, and we didn’t all escape gettin’ striped by their talons, but all of us survived this initial run-in. There’ll be more, to be certain.
We came to the Clearlight Temple and began making plans to move ahead. The twisted trees in the courtyard that seem to be attracting people like moths are a bit confounding, to be sure, and we be thinking what our best course of action is.
Dumathoin guide me – I feel our fightin’ has not even begun.
