The adventurers leave Ireena Kolyana and Stella Wachter in Vallaki. On their journey to Krezk, they battle a revenant and its ghoulish companions. The revenant hates Maulduk a lot. It designates him as “arch-enemy”. Hadrioul decides to burn all the undead bodies to prevent any of them, especially the revenant, from reviving or finding another vessel.

My crazy band travels in precipitation
And we meet an undead aberration.
The ghouls all come running
The revenant is quite stunning
That is just my simple observation.
Maulduk cut down ghouls as he rode,
The rest of us used magic quite bold
Eiric used a lot of shocking
Hadrioul did some blocking
Yours truly used magic that glowed.
The revenant knocked Maulduk out
And paralyzed Hadrioul the devout
Eiric and I assailed our foes
Raining down might blows
I have to say were pretty stout.
Eiric gazed into the revenant’s eyes
Which caused him too to be paralyzed
At the revenant I did poke
Until my friends awoke
Then burned undead like French fries.
