Short Synopsis
A group of summoned demons battle amongst themselves until only a handful remain. Once their numbers are reduced, the party launches an attack to finish them off. At the conclusion of their battle, Grazz’t appears and thanks the adventurers for disposing of his rivals.
The party is congratulated by the matron, though she points out that Menzoberranzzan has paid much in drow blood for this victory. Now the party must decide whether to head to the wizard Vizerin for more answers, to Luskan to challenge Grazz’t or to some other destination yet to be decided.
Long Synopsis
The demons summoned to Menzoberranzzan continue to wreak havoc over the drow barracks. Which demon lord will be the last one standing? Drow warriors are swatted away as the demon lords engage in a brutal battle. Orcus uses *power word kill* to defeat Jubilex and flies into the air. Baphomet ingeniously creates a ramp of stone to attack the flying Orcus. Meanwhile, Yeenoghu and Zuggtmoy engage in a violent melee. Zuggtmoy’s manipulates spore-infested drow to throw themselves before her enemies’ attacks. Fraz-Urb’luu takes the opportunity to make a sneak attack on the Queen of Mushrooms. Not long after, Fraz-Urb’luu falls to his foes. Demogorgon’s two-headed, schizophrenic heads decides to leap into the fray. Baphomet and Orcus exchange brutal blows, but eventually Baphomet falls to another *power word kill*. Orcus also decides to attack his greatest rival, Demogorgon, with a blistering series of necrotic blasts. Zuggtmoy wafts into the ethereal plane in an attempt to hunt the weakened Orcus. Yeenoghu and Demogorgon charge at each other, with Yeenoghu eventually emerging victorious.
It is clear that the demonic fight is taking its toll on the demon lords. The party leaps into action and quickly dispatches Orcus and Yeenoghu. With Zuggtmoy as the last demon standing, the adventurers concentrate their fire on the last remaining demon lord. The party’s attack results in some collateral damage amongst the drow. When Zuggtmoy is finally defeated and dissipates, another figure materializes.
It is Grazz’t. In fact, it seems that he is the last demon standing.
The demon lord thanks the party for ridding him of his rivals. Before the party can act, Grazz’t disappears. The party is taken to the matron where she thanks the party with words, but not gold – especially given that so much drow blood has been spilled.
Now the party must decide whether to head to the wizard Vizerin for more answers, to Luskan to challenge Grazz’t or to some other destination yet to be decided.
