Short Synopsis
The party makes their way into the Silverton mines. They encounter and defeat a pair of steel constructs. As they move further, they find a single dwarf standing in the center of a large cavern.
Long Synopsis
Illidan, Jax, Kelderrin, Killean, Rasutar and Rolann return to the palace to talk with the Duchess Daggerford and to look for the “Lady Wynn Cromm” (who they suspect was the succubus). The “Lady Wynn Cromm” is nowhere to be found, and the party warns the Duchess of the possibility that this “Wynn Cromm” might be a succubus.
They leave to the Silverton mines. Jax notices that they are taking empty carts out of the mine and taking them into the warehouse. Inside the warehouse, the laborers put something into the cart and push it back into the mines. Eventually, the laborers go home and the party investigates the warehouse. Inside, they find crates from labeled as being shipped from Phandelver to Silverton. There are several months of shipments evidenced by bills of laden.
The party attempts to enter the mines. Kelderrin casts *sleep* to put the guards to sleep, and the party makes their way in. Very shortly thereafter, they are attacked by two steel constructs. Killean casts *faerie fire* on the constructs. Kelderrin and Rolann casts *haste* upon themselves. Jax and Rolann confront the constructs and take the brunt of the damage. Rolann uses his fists to smash the constructs between the legs. Meanwhile, Illidan, Kelderrin and Killean attack from a distance. Rasutar’s and Rolann’s magical attacks seem to do the most damage. Eventually, the constructs collapse in a battered heap.
The party decides to travel further into the mine.
They enter a large open area where a single dwarf stands at its center…
